Yangon Walls is an environmental, social and philanthropic project that rehabilitates the rubbish streets of Yangon, Myanmar into an open-air art gallery that makes ART more accessible and gives to artists the possibility to express themselves on free canvas.

YGNWALLS . Always concerned with environmental problems, de Lorme uses her artistic practice as a lever for the rehabilitation of unhealthy and disaffected neighborhoods in certain districts of Rangoon. Street art does not exist in Burma and no one has ever dared to paint on the walls. In 2018, she set up a team of volunteers and young Burmese artists. Together they create the collective YangonWalls.
Concernée depuis toujours par les problèmes environnementaux, de Lorme fait de sa pratique artistique un levier pour la réhabilitation des quartiers insalubres et désaffectés de certains quartiers de Rangoon. Le street art n’existe pas en Birmanie et personne n’a jamais oser peindre sur les murs. En 2018, Elle monte une équipe de volontaires et de jeunes artistes birmans. Ensemble ils créent le collectif YangonWalls.
YangonWalls generates new routes to discover the lovely colonials streets of downtown.
YangonWalls a recruté une équipe de volontaires pour le nettoyage des allées, les habitants du quartier ont arrêté de jeter leur détritus par les fenêtres et se sont engagés a entretenir les contres allées.
YGNWALLS has been able to gather a team of volunteers that participate to the cleaning and maintaining of these streets and in making these painting projects possible hoping to point out the importance to stop throwing trash from the window.
Art is a tool that drives beautification and that relays social messages.

In 2019 YGNWALLS collective opened an art gallery called The Atelier, where the artists of the collective are given the chance to exhibit their art works.
